From a young age, I have been drawn to and shaped by the wilderness. A childhood that included frequent family campouts, weekends exploring Yosemite, and regular backpacking trips with my father, left me feeling most comfortable and "at home" when I'm immersed in natural settings, finding deep connection to places unspoiled by human influence and development. When not in the backcountry, I often find myself a bit restless and as a result, I'm always planning my next adventure.
I received access to my first "real" camera decades ago when I was in grade school and it was only natural that I gravitated towards capturing the beauty of the outdoors in my photography. It was, perhaps, an attempt to bring the wilderness home with me, a way of mitigating the restlessness I feel between adventures. After all these years, and in response to multiple requests, I'm making some of my favorite images available for purchase as prints. So, please, browse my galleries and enjoy!
